Yesterday i did have problem to go to sleep. I fixated upon finding a bug in code, i did. Release from this small effort relaxed me enough to fall asleep.

@Nudhul @tkwfm001 Really old people might tell you to read a book then. Just research some sleep hygiene tips.

@Nudhul @tkwfm001 I find low amounts of alcohol acting like a stimulant.
@white_male @tkwfm001 3 shots is low for you? what does your liver look like?
@Nudhul @tkwfm001 It's great, i drink rarely, don't suffer much hangovers either. Just a decent alcohol metabolism.

Also i drink water 1:1 with booze.
@white_male @tkwfm001 i do about the same. filled a 12oz glass 50:50 with vodka and apple juice

@Nudhul @tkwfm001 @white_male if I really can't fall asleep (I'm in tune enough to know that) I don't even try. I just have to do something else until 3 am.

However I have discovered that drinking a shit load of water will usually make me fall asleep. I have no idea why.
@Nudhul @tkwfm001 @white_male for real though I would recommend drinking 2 liters of water or so a few hours before bed (long enough for it to pass through you). It fixed all of my insomnia problems. Even if it doesn't work for you, it's worth a shot because it's super easy and risk free.
